What makes a window 'impact'?
Laminated glass with a tough interlayer, set in a reinforced frame, tested to withstand flying debris and pressure cycles. Each unit we install carries a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance.
Can I replace just a few windows?
Yes. Many homeowners start with the openings that face the street or the worst weather, then finish the rest.
Do I still need shutters?
No. Rated impact windows are code-approved opening protection on their own.
What about noise?
The laminated glass cuts outside noise noticeably — it's the first thing most customers mention after install.
